SCADA Simulation

Avansim's SCADA simulator enables operators to create, practise and validate switching programmes within the safety of a fully simulated environment. It provides an effective means of developing and maintaining competence without the operational risk, disruption or restricted access associated with carrying out switching activities on the live network.

The complete SCADA interface is accurately emulated, with controls, indications, alarms and system responses behaving in the same way as the operational system. Users can rehearse routine switching procedures, respond to equipment faults and alarms, and practise managing abnormal or emergency situations in a controlled and repeatable setting.

Instructors can introduce faults and operational challenges, pause or repeat exercises, and review trainee actions to support structured assessment and constructive feedback.
